The TorontoMet FilmFest is the annual celebration of the Film program's thesis work from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson), the leading film school in Canada. As the Design Director of my cohort, I led the full rebrand of the festival and was responsible for all the creative aesthetic choices, brand identity, and managed an amazing team of nine peers. I pushed for the rebrand out of a desire to reach a broader audience of film lovers rather than the niche community of our program. The goal was to represent our cohort's youthful, eager, and passionate drive for filmmaking through exciting bold graphics, but also leveraging the university's already-built reputation. It was a great journey that I learned a lot from and am proud to have led with my talented team.
